Sesa Sayi Temple

In this temple there is a five-thousand year old Deity of Garbhodaksayi Vishnu and Laksmidevi.

Once the gopis told Krishna that they would like to enjoy His pastimes as Vaikunthanath, the Lord of Valkuntha. Lord Krishna agreed to this proposal and transformed Himself into Garbhedaksayi Vishnu and Lord Balarama transformed Himself into Ananta Sesa, Lord Vishnu's eternal bedstead. Srimati Radharani transformed into Laksmi Devi.

Finally all the gopas and gopis were transformed into 33 million demigods and demi-goddesses. From the navel of Lord Krishna sprouted a lotus flower and all the gopas and gopis witnessed the pastime of Lord Brahma being generated.
