There are mainly only dharamsalas to stay at here. The only hotel-type place is the basic Yatraki Niwas, behind the stand, which has some rooms with bath.

Most of the dharamsalas have windowless rooms with simple washing facilities. The cleanest places are the Ahilya Bhai, left of the main square, Rewa Gauza, near the Mamaleswara Temple and the Shri Tirole Kumbhi, near the river. By the steps leading to the ghats from the village square, there is a building in which the owner rents out rooms to long staying western visitors.


You can get mineral water at Jain Cold Drinks, 100 m from the bus stand. There are no money changing facilities here. There are only very basic eating places here.
