Air
The nearest airport is in Bombay, 182 km away.

Train
The train station is at Nasik Road (8km southeast of town). It is on the main Bombay-Delhi and Bombay-Calcutta line of the Central Railway. You can book train tickets at the city booking counter off MG Road.

There are regular trains to Bombay (12 daily) that take about 5 hours. The Panchavati Express takes just 4 hours. It is best to reserve this train in advance. The Punjab Mail is the best train to Delhi (21 hrs) and Agra (17 1/2 hours). There are also trains to Calcutta and Varanasi. The only train to Aurangabad departs in the morning.

Bus
You get the bus to Aurangabad (5 hrs) and the Nasik Darshan Bus at the City Bus Stand in the center of town. This bus station is close to the hotels and restaurants.

You get buses to Bombay at the Mahamarga Bus Stand, which is a ten-minute auto-rickshaw ride from the center of town. There are four luxury buses a day to Bombay which take four hours to reach Dadar Station. You must book tickets for these buses in advance at the reservation counter at the City Bus Stand.
