There are many places to stay by the railway station. Some places are the Pal Rest House, Madras Hotel, and the Shanti Rest House, which all have rooms. The Hotel Siddarth has rooms with common bath and with bath.

There are clean railway retiring rooms. There are also dorm beds in the station.

The Hotel Surya about a km from the station, is a recommended place. Rooms are with hot water and a TV. Noise from the road can be a little loud, so it is best to ask for a room in the back.

The nearby Samrat Hotel has double rooms, which are not as good as the Hotel Surya, but this place is set back from the road and is quiet. The Ajatsatu Hotel, directly across from the railway station, has decent rooms with bath.

The Hotel Siddloartha International is the best hotel in town with rooms and with A/C.

There is a very basic Gujarati thali place down the road from the railway station. All the vegetarian eating places in town are very basic.
