Air and Train
The nearest airport is located in Jamnagar (145 km). Dwarka is 378 km west of Ahmedabad on the coast. The Saurashtra Mail goes to Bombay (20 hr) via Rajkot (5 hr), Ahmedabad (10 hr), and Vadodara (12 1/2 hr). From Bombay Central the Saurashtra Mail departs daily to Dwarka (20 hr). If you are coming here from Mathura, you first go to either Ahmedabad or Vadodara and from there get the Saurashtra Mail to Dwarka. The Saurashtra Mail for Dwarka departs from Ahmedabad and from Vadodara.


Bus
The long-distance bus stand is about 15-minute walk from MG Road. There are buses from here departing to cities all over Gujarat. There are regular buses to Veraval (7 hr, for Somnath), several dally buses to Porbandar (3 hrs), and four buses daily to Junagadh.
