The Annapurna Hotel, by Ramghat, has simple rooms. The Yatrika, outside of town by Janaki Kund, also has simple rooms for about the same price. There are many simple cheap dharamshalas in town such as the Pramod Van Dharamshala. Many do not have beds.

The Madhya Pradesh Tourist Hotel, by the Satna bus stand in near Ram Ghat, is the best place to stay. This place along with the UP Tourist Bungalow, Karbi Rd, Sitapur, which has rooms, are the nicest places in town to stay. The UP Tourist Bungalow also has dorm beds. The Madhya Pradesh Tourist Hotel is cheaper, more centrally located, and also quiet at night.

The Shree Kamadgiri Bhawan, on Ratnavali Marg, between the two Tourist Bungalows, is a nice place that has rooms with common bath for up to three people with attached bath.

The Jaipurriya Hotel is also a good place with rooms.
