At Galta there is a temple dedicated to Sur, the sun-god, and natural springs said to have curative properties. There is a tank here, which is constantly being filled by spring water coming out of a stone-carved cow. There are about 30 shalagrama-shilas here. You can get a good view of the city in the valley below from the temple here. There are many red-faced monkeys here.
