Where To Stay - Lower
Most of the hotels are along KS Rao Rd in the center of town.
The Hotel Vishnu Bhavan has rooms with bath. The rooms in the front are noisy and very basic. The Panchami Boarding & Lodging, right next to the bus station, has rooms. It has hot water in the early morning
The Hotel RoopaLight House Hill Rd, has rooms with A/C. The Hotel Vasanth, KS Rao Rd, has rooms. The Hotel KSTDC Mayura Nethravathi, near the bus stand, has rooms with hot water and views of the ocean. The rooms are a good value.
Where To Stay - Middle
The Hotel Navaratna Palace, KS Rao Rd, is newly built and has comfortable rooms with A/C. It is a good value and recommended.
The Indraprastha, Light House Hill Rd, has big rooms with bath and hot water. The rooms in the back are quiet.
Where To Stay - Higher
The Summer Sands Beach Resort, in Ullal, 10 km out of town, is a recommended place to stay with rooms with A/C. It has a swimming pool and some bungalows with two bedrooms, a living room, porch, and kitchen. Bus #44A takes you there.
The Poonja International KS Rao Rd, is a new place with central A/C. It has clean rooms with A/C. The rooms here are a good value.
The three-star Moti Mahal Hotel, Falnir Road, has a swimming pool. Rooms with A/C. They also have suites. It is a recommended place. It has a veg restaurant. The Hotel Srinivas, GHS Rd, is about the same and has rooms with A/C.
The Manjarun, Bunder (Old Port) Rd, 2km from the railway station, is a centrally air-conditioned place with all the facilities.
