Introduction of The Hundi Robber |
He bathed in Kapila Theertham and had darshan of Bramaramba and
Kapileswara Swamy also. The next day he climbed, the Tirumala Hills.
Uttering Govinda Govinda and forgetting the tireness of the journey,
Reddy reached Tirumala alongwith other pilgrims, who were bound
to the place. He had a holy dip at Swami Pushkarani, visited Varaha
Swamy temple and entered Sri Venkateswara temple. The darshan of
the Lord filled his mind with joy and his eyes had a pleasant feast
at that sight. Satisfied with the darshan of the Lord, he went round
the temple and reached the Hundi• There he dropped his offerings
and went round the Hundi once.
Reddy then went to the Temple office and paid the prescribed fee
for the Brahmotsavam and Floating festival. He witnessed those utsavs
with devotion and returned to his village happily.
After reaching his village he installed Sri Padmavathi and Srinivasa
idols in a temple, made grand celebrations and fed many mouths.
He arranged for daily pooja and aradhana at the temple.
Spending his time in the service of the Lord, Reddy grew old and
at the ripe age breathed his last and attained mukthi.
All Bhakthas of the Lord who .read, hear or write this story in
devotion will be blessed by Padmavati and Srinivasa with long life,
health and happiness.
