Full moon day in the month of Phalguna is considered an important day to bathe in the Thumbur Theertham about fifteen miles to the North of Sri Venkateswara temple. Pilgrims go there on this .day in groups, bathe in the theertham and visit Sri Venkamamba's cave, do bhajans there and feel happy.
